"Descent" celebrates the dark, moody landscapes of Sitka, a quaint, rainforest town in south east Alaska where I lived for three years with my husband and three kids. The rugged weather and remote lifestyle isn't for everyone, but we cherished our time in the rainy mountains, where artistic inspiration runs wild.
